Jan Prouty is quite active as a director and performer of music. Jan has spent nearly twenty-five years as a performer. She served for several years as a bass section leader for the Sweet Adeline Chorus under the direction of the always fashionable Bron Dixon, and has appeared in various local musical productions around the city. Along with her present quartet, Trading Places, she has sung bass with several Sweet Adeline Quartets in Mobile and Miami.

Jerry Pugh, from Mobile, Alabama, is an arranger , composer, director, and sings all parts, except baritone. He sang in three different quartets and competed six times in Dixie District competitions. He was director and musical advisor of the Pride of Mobile Chorus from 1980-2002. Jerry received his degree in music from University of South Alabama, in Mobile, and is now a full-time music minister at a Mobile Church. As a researcher, he has been an invited speaker at a number of PriMo's practices.
